little bits and pieces...

This beautiful mom and baby was from my session a week ago, and I just finished editing their photos, so i can post a few more now that they've been able to see them all... and I LOVE these!!! i love the little bits and pieces of a new baby. They suck me in and make we do crazy things like want lots of babies...

and this momma had the CUTEST clothes for the little miss. and check out that head of hair?!?!

it's not too often

that you EVER see me on this side of the camera! Not because i don't want to, it just doesn't really happen. BUt i love this little guy. He's my buddy. He makes everyone in this house sooooooo happy!!! And then down below, well, let's just say that it's my most favorite pictures EVER!!! Because it has everyone i love in it, exactly how they are. Matty's on the run, jack is being crazy, nate is being sweet, and Dave is in his most favorite spot. RIght in the middle of his boys. How did i get so lucky, i don't know, but to me, life is sweeter than it's ever been!!!

more to come of this little baby and her sweet brother and sisters. I just had to post this one though! I am totally in love with all those wraps out there that photographers have been using lately, so i asked my talented little sister-in-law if she wouldn't mind trying it out, and what do you know... it's FABULOUS!!! For whatever reason I've been having the worst of luck on my shoots! Two weeks ago I passed out on one shoot, my cute pregnant lady saved me, and then on this one I got a flat tire and lucky for me I have the best clients ever, and they changed my tire for me. SO THANKS TO ALL MY WONDERFUL CLIENTS!!! You're all the best!!!

Well, this family was so fun. Half live here, half live out of state, and we managed to pull off a GREAT shoot in the HOT sun! We had four generations of family goodness, and it's so neat to be a part of that! And the little blonde haired cutie is one of the toughest little girls I know of!! She's been through more than I've ever had to, but her smile and that sparkle in her eyes makes her shine brighter than you'll ever know!!! Luckily she seems to have some pretty amazing parents... and grandparents, and aunts and uncles, and great grandma's, and well... you know. A GREAT FAMILY.

To me that's what this life is all about. The relationships that we have with the ones we love. Oh, and did I say that I love big families? haha... I'm sure you've all heard that a million times now!!! But it's true. I do!!!!

I'm trying to finish up editing that wonderful families pictures below, and came across this one... it stopped me in my tracks! Sometimes we never know how beautiful we really are until we see ourselves thru some one else's eyes... and I hope she knows she's beautiful!!!!!!!

i love big families!

I have always loved big families! When I was little and we had to draw our families in school I always added 2-3 extra kids! There's just something about the chaos that i love! Maybe that's why I'm on a fast track to having my own big family!! But this family... we'll let's just say if I could have my family be like any family... this would be it! No joke! I stand in amazement of how much love and support they show each other! Each kid is so different, and I love how their mom and dad let them, and love them for their difference's. It's how I want my family to be!

So for them we decided to do something I hadn't done before! We took my red couch out to a corn field! They jumped, they played, they laughed. We all had a great time!! So sit back and enjoy the greatness of a big family!

And who said taking pictures wasn't fun?!?!?!?

Did I not warn you that we were going to be up to some fun this week? This soon to momma is 36 weeks and as beautiful as ever! She's the owner of an incredible spa here in dallas and is BURSTING with pregnancy glow, inside and out! She sure was a trooper today... its was a hot one, and we shot these all in full SUN! I think it's safe to say that she handled it better than I did! I was dying by the end! I can't wait to meet their new little one. Just a few more weeks and this twosome will become a threesome! To the soon to be momma and daddy, I had a blast with you today, and I can't wait until next time!

and p.s. as for the lemonade shots and lemons... that's what she craved her entire pregnancy. She even showed up with a lemonade in hand! I love it!

Some of you may be wondering what this fun and exciting news is... ANd I'm VERY excited to share it with you all. And no, i didn't miss spell the word, hello, and no, I'm not trying to say it like a gangsta! I'm just want to say hello, or hallo, to all my friend over there in Germany who read KIDS LIFE magazine. They contacted me a little while back and asked if they could use some pictures, and then they told me that one of Urban Photo's kids got the cover! So congrats to both families who were selected!
